    Crookston Landslide Stabilization

    In 2003, a landslide developed along the Red Lake river bank inside the city of Crookston, Minnesota. Although several attempts were made to solve the problem, in 2008, a second event occurred, and extensive instrumentation was then put in place to monitor the slope and gain a better understanding of the situation. In 2013, the Minnesota Department of Transportation issued a design and build project to improve the stability of the river bank.

He has held various roles throughout his career including Project Management, Underground Supervision, Backfill Engineer, Mine Systems Lead, and most recently, Senior Mine Engineer. Throughout his career, he has focused on improvement projects related to drill and blast optimization, backfill systems, production management, and ventilation on demand as well as innovation with the design and implementation of autonomous mining and wireless blasting technologies.
