Dr Wang is a Geomechanics specialist with experience in advanced numerical modelling and laboratory and field testing. He has more than six years of experience in numerical modelling and laboratory testing.
He has experience in discrete fracture network (DFN) modelling and DFN-DEM multiple-scale modelling. He has experience in the application of coupled numerical modelling in seismic wave propagation and ground motion modelling for underground hard rock mines. Dr. Wang also has expertise in laboratory testing, data processing, and interpretation, including in in-situ stress measurement, laboratory and field testing of rock and support element properties.
